1. RECTIFICATION OF WEIGHT

Trans-Cité Express Inc. reserves the right to weigh packages or to recalculate the cubic weight (10.25 lb per cubic foot).  To calculate the cubic weight multiply the width by height by length in inches. Divide the result by 168.5. The most significant weight between the actual weight and the cubic weight will be taken into consideration.

2. DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT

Dimensional weight or “Truck Call” is a minimum fee of $15.00 plus the cost of the delivery.  Any item above 1600 square inches to 4700 square inches, or 6 feet to 8 feet in length will automatically necessitate a “Truck Call”.

3. DANGEROUS GOODS

In order to transport dangerous goods the materials must be in accordance with l’article 2.33 de laLoi sur le transport des marchandises dangereuses which forbids:

· Explosives

· Unprotected bottles

· Radioactive materials which are inflammable and/or       explosive      

· Weapons and firearms

· Contaminated substances packed along with other    merchandise

· Waste

For any other merchandise permissible by law, an additional $20.00 will by applied for each delivery of dangerous goods.

4. WAITING TIME

Waiting time superior to 5 minutes will be charged at $0.50 per additional minute.

Time allowed for loading / unloading a skid is 15 minutes.  Waiting time exceeding 15 minutes will be charged at $1.00 per additional minute.

5. HANDLING

Handling is charged at $60.00 per hour / $1.00 per minute.  The use of the tail-gate will be charged at $10.00 per skid.  For a delivery with tail-gate for 5 skids or more, the charge will not exceed $50.00.

6. PICK-UP (CANNOT BE DONE)

If we are unable to do a pick-up for reasons out of our control (Ex: No one at the pick-up address) you will be charged half the price of the service requested.

7. FUEL SURCHARGE

A fuel surcharge will be applied to each waybill and charged on the invoice.

8. CASH ON DELIVERY

Trans-Cité Express Inc. can do a collect call and have it returned to you in the service of your choice.

9. DELIVERY (CANNOT BE DONE)

If we are unable to deliver for reasons out of our control you will be charged the full price of the service requested. If re-delivery is done with the same service at the same address, you will be charged an additional fee, being half the price of the service.

10. EXCEPTION FOR ZONE 14

The Econo service is only available for delivery but not accessible for pick-ups.

All shipments containing glass, liquid, ceramic, fragile objects sensitive to temperature, objects of personal value, objects prohibited by law and accepted unbeknownst by Trans-Cité Express Inc. will be transported at the risk of the shipper. This without any guarantees and will not be subject to claims in case of damage.

12. LIMITS OF REGULAR SERVICES

Postal codes indicate the physical limits of our regular services.  Outside our zones the services are done in a direct and/or 24 hour service only. Prices and conditions on demand.

13. CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT

TERMS: NET 30 DAYS
